The Golden Joke:

Once there was a man who walked to places. He walked over many a hill and dale until one day he came near a small town. The sun was low in the sky and his eyes strained to look down upon it, yet on the other side of the road the stood a billboard, strong and pround, with a sign displaying the words "Welcome to the Golden Town". The man pondered for a moment before moving on. A couple of minutes down the road the man came to a pair of golden gates welcoming him into the golden town, either side of the golden gates were golden fence posts stretching as far as the golden eye could see. The man stepped through the golden gates and with every golden step he took, he saw more golden things. Golden houses, golden office blocks, golden streets with golden people dressed in golden hats and golden suits walking their golden dogs on golden leads.

The man took another step forward onto the golden streets cobbled with gold stones, and as his golden boot scraped along the golden ground he looked up to see a golden cinema displaying a golden sign for "Austin Powers in Goldmember". The man walked away and without realising it he found himself trapped within a golden labarynth of golden buildings. Within the man's golden mind he thought that he must escape or at least find out where he was withing the golden town of golden buildings and golden people. He asked a golden passer-by; he doffed his golden hat and answered the man's question for golden directions out of the golden labarynth of golden buildings. "take a golden left after the second golden right, then carry on the golden road till you see the golden clock tower". The man thanked the golden passer-by with a golden handshake and to show his apreciation, a golden coin.

So off the man went making his golden way down the golden road of the golden town. He now felt a golden feeling inside him as he knew his way out of the goldan labarynth of golden buildings. And finally he was out, he was on the golden high street dotted with golden shops selling their golden wares. To the left of him there was a goldsmiths and a golden chocolate shop selling Terry's All Gold, to the right there was a cart selling golden ice creams to golden children. The golden Sun was shining and the golden bird were singing their golden songs, perched on the golden trees with golden leaves. The golden people who lived in the golden town were happy with their golden lives and the golden air brimmed with the golden laughter of the golden population.
